These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TEZride(the “Platform”), an online marketplace that connects users requesting ambulance services with independent, third-party ambulance fleet owners (“Providers”). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What TEZride is
TEZride is a technology platform. We do not own, operate, or employ ambulances, drivers, or medical personnel. Providers listed on the Platform are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance, vehicle condition, and service quality. TEZride facilitates booking, dispatch, and tracking only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to create a Provider account or place a booking on behalf of a patient. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Booking
- Bookings display an estimated fare based on Provider-set pricing (within platform caps) plus distance and selected equipment add-ons.
- The final fare is payable directly to the Provider. TEZride does not currently process or hold ride payments.
- Cancellations are allowed up to the moment a Provider accepts the booking. Provider-accepted bookings may be subject to cancellation charges set by the Provider.
- TEZride does not guarantee vehicle availability, response time, or service quality. Actual response depends on traffic, Provider availability, and location.
4. Emergency disclaimer
For life-threatening emergencies, always call government emergency helplines first: 108 (ambulance), 102 (pregnancy/infant), or 112 (universal emergency). TEZride is a supplementary service and must not be relied upon as the sole means of obtaining emergency medical transport.
5. Provider obligations
- Maintain valid vehicle registration, insurance, fitness certificate, and driver licensing at all times.
- Ensure each vehicle carries the equipment declared during listing.
- Charge only the fare shown to the user at booking (within platform caps).
- Operate safely and in compliance with all applicable transport and medical regulations.
TEZride may suspend or remove any Provider who violates these obligations, allows documents to expire, receives consistent poor ratings, or engages in fraudulent activity.
6. User obligations
- Provide accurate pickup and drop locations, patient condition, and contact details.
- Do not use the Platform to make false, fraudulent, or abusive bookings.
- Pay the fare due to the Provider promptly after the ride.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TEZride is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with the use of the Platform, including but not limited to ambulance service quality, driver conduct, medical outcomes, vehicle condition, delayed arrival, or disputes between users and Providers. TEZride's total aggregate liability will not exceed ₹1,000 or the platform fee paid by the user for the disputed booking, whichever is lower.
8. Intellectual property
The Platform, its logos, content, and software are the property of TEZride. Users and Providers receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
9. Termination
TEZride may suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or for any other legitimate operational reason. Users and Providers may also terminate their accounts at any time by contacting support.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced via the Platform or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
